Why I'm finally writing in public

After years of notebooks and unsent drafts, I'm publishing my thoughts — on tech, India, faith, and family. Here's what this place is, and what it isn't.

For most of my life, my best thinking has died in private. In the margins of notebooks. In drafts I never sent. In long messages to friends that said something true exactly once and were never seen again.

This is me changing that.

This site is a single, simple promise to myself: write in the open, and keep what’s worth keeping. Not for an algorithm, not for a follower count — for the quiet satisfaction of having said a thing clearly, and being able to find it again in ten years.

Publishing isn’t about having the final word. It’s about being brave enough to have a first one.

— A note to myself

What you’ll find here

I think about four things more than anything else, and they bleed into each other constantly:

  • Technology — what I’m building, and the strange, beautiful craft of software.
  • India — the country I can’t stop arguing with and loving in the same breath.
  • Faith — belief, doubt, and the search for meaning that won’t leave me alone.
  • Family — the people who shaped me, and the ones I’m still learning to deserve.

Some posts will be long, argued essays. Some will be three sentences I couldn’t stop thinking about. I’m not optimizing for consistency of length — only honesty.

Changing my mind in public

The hardest part of writing openly is that you commit your half-formed ideas to the record. I’ve decided that’s a feature, not a bug. You’ll catch me contradicting an older post someday — and when you do, it’ll mean I learned something.

So: welcome. Pull up a chair. If any of this resonates, the best way to follow along is below — I’ll send new writing your way when it’s ready, and never more often than it deserves.
